Telligent ซื้อ Zimbra จาก VMWare แล้ว

Telligent ได้ซื้อ Zimbra จาก VMWare เพื่อเสริมการทำงานของ Telligent ให้ครอบคลุมการทำงานมากยิ่งขึ้น

Telligent เป็นบริษัทที่ให้บริการ enterprise social collaboration ที่รวมเอา real-time communication, social networking, instant messaging และ online communities และเมื่อซื้อ Zimbra แล้วจะทำให้ Telligent มี feature enterprise-class email, calendar c]t collaboration เข้ามาด้วย

อย่างไรก็ดี การเข้าซื้อ Zimbra ครั้งนี้ยังคงได้รับการพัฒนาต่อตามปรกติ และไม่ได้รับผลกระทบใน version ถัดไป (JudasPriest) ที่จะเปิดตัวในต้นปีหน้า และยังคงมี version open source ต่อไป
